Synopsis
A case study of school food in four different localities: New York City (USA), Italy (I), Ticino Canton (CH) and Cardiff (UK).
The documentary analyzes both bureaucratic and practical issues relating to dietary practices in the schools examined where the goal is to serve quality food that is balanced, nutritional, organic, locally produced and traditional, without the exploitation of farmers and the environment, and lower food miles. Interviews are conducted with institution heads, students, parents and teachers. The documentary’s aim is to improve the quality of food by offering healthy and balanced meals at school.
