Synopsis
Sima, a sculptor and photographer, meets with Picasso in Antibes in June 1946. He has been lent an atelier in the local Museum of Archaeology and he offers Picasso to come and work in one of the halls of the Palace.
On Picasso’s request, day after day, Michel Sima takes photographs of the work in progress. He becomes the eye witness of the birth of the painter’s works. Thanks to their crossed glances on art creation, this human experience, this friendship will result in the Picasso Museum.
The museum in Antibes has been just refurbished and the works of art returned back to the atelier where they were created. This will provide the opportunity for a journey from the present to the past, revealing the birth of these pieces.
