Synopsis
In Epinay-sur-Seine, in a neighbourhood called la Source, Ali's small supermarket is the only shop left out of the deteriorated local commerce that is still up and running. It is also the only place where the abandoned inhabatitants of the tower blocks can meet up, a shelter where they get together and enjoy each other's company. Filming time go by, on their faces, in their destinies, this report shows the importance of a place like this, a modest shop in the middle of a housing estate, in which, despite their problems and poverty, the people can still share friendship, laughter and some human warmth.
