Synopsis
Rome. For four years an unused clinic and old high school have been used as housing for ninety families, all of different social backgrounds and nationalities. We move within these spaces observing the dynamics of those who live there, who guide us with their testimonies to the profound meaning of Home: an instrument of social growth and development, a place from which to face life, where you can work on your talents, with a deep sense of intimacy and sharing, and strength and dignity, for many this is still the meaning of Home. On our journey through the Casale de Merode community we learn about need and choice, communal living and the existence of an alternative way of life.
