Synopsis
"All Things Were Now Overtaken By Silence" is a film about the filming
of a play. The play is a monologue by Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz’s poem
"First I Dream". We see the actress Jesusa Rodríguez patiently waiting
between shots as the director and crew decide shots, move lights
and position the camera. The film is a meditation on filmmaking and
its process.
